Alma Faham is an abstract artist whose work merges architectural structure with emotive expression. Born in Kuwait to Syrian parents, she grew up across Kuwait, Jordan, Greece, and the United States, experiences that shaped her multicultural perspective and artistic voice. With a BSc in Architectural Engineering from the University of Jordan and training in painting, jewelry design, and mosaic, she developed a practice that reflects both craftsmanship and experimentation. Her paintings draw from poetry, memory, and cultural heritage, often echoing the spirit of Damascus in color, texture, and theme. Since 2015, Alma has exhibited locally and internationally in solo, group, and digital shows, while also serving as a Cultural Commissioner for the City of Danbury and as an active member of regional art alliances. Her canvases invite viewers to engage with layered abstractions where lines, forms, and shadows open space for personal interpretation.
