Humpty Dumpty

Ishmael Fa | Stand : AB03

This bright, chaotic painting breaks a happy expression down into floating, scattered pieces. Set against a warm, splattered background of yellow and orange, thick blue eyes and disconnected curved lines drift across the canvas without ever forming a solid face. By breaking the smile apart into isolated symbols, the artwork simply and powerfully shows how a forced outward expression can hide a messy, unorganized feeling inside.
