Created through thousands of individually placed ink dots, Inseparable Identity explores how our sense of self is gradually shaped through experience, creativity and expression.
The figure merges with an oversized pencil, symbolising the inseparable relationship between creator and creation, where each continuously shapes the other. At the base, three abstract faces suggest resilience, vulnerability and persistence, reflecting the different emotions carried within a single identity.
The slow process of stippling mirrors this gradual formation of self: individual marks coming together to create something larger and more complex.
The work reflects on creativity as part of identity and the ways our experiences, emotions and connections shape who we become and what we contribute to the world around us.
