My work explores an imaginative amalgamation of two richly layered worlds: the opulent visual language of Mughal and Persian miniatures, and the whimsical, surreal narrative of Alice in Wonderland. By merging the intricate detailing, flattened perspectives, and symbolic elegance of traditional miniature painting with the dreamlike characters and curious logic of Alice’s universe, I create a space where history and fantasy coexist. This fusion allows familiar scenes to be reimagined through a contemporary lens, inviting the viewer into a playful yet contemplative realm where time, scale, and reality are fluid, and storytelling becomes both visual and cultural.
