Carving Out Your Karma is a powerful visual meditation on human effort, destiny, and self-transformation. At the heart of my composition stands a solitary figure, immersed in the act of sculpting a monumental landscape of stone blocks. The raised chisels and downward gaze create a compelling narrative of introspection, suggesting that the individual is both the creator and the creation—actively shaping the course of their own existence. I have drawn upon the philosophical idea of karma as a process of action and consequence, where every choice leaves its imprint on the self.
I have carved out textures using palette knife to further drive home the importance of shaping your own destiny with your own hard work, and that you are the creator of your own story.
