Relics Of The Past

For me, this work, it's not just a still life, but an image-like message. I draw on Eastern symbolism, in which objects carry meaning and energy.

I perceive antique silver—jewelry and coins—as a sign of prosperity, protection, and family memory. The red, patterned fabric enhances this feeling: red is associated with vitality, abundance, and blessing.

The juxtaposition of textures is important to me—the cool shine of metal and the soft, almost living surface of antique textiles. This contrast creates both inner tension and harmony—a union of the material and the spiritual, tradition and personal experience.
