We Can Co-Exist: Jaguar is a meditation on quiet power and fragile survival. The jaguar, a symbol of strength and balance within dense forests, moves through its world with silent authority, yet even this apex predator is not immune to disappearance. Expanding deforestation, shrinking corridors, poaching, and increasing human conflict have fractured its territory and unsettled an ancient rhythm. Painted as part of the We Can Co-Exist series, this work reflects a deeper belief that Earth is not ours to dominate, but to share. Every species plays a vital role in sustaining life, and none should be erased to accommodate unchecked growth. The jaguar does not need to vanish for progress to exist. Through this painting, I invite the viewer to reflect on coexistence, where protection replaces destruction, and wild presence is preserved not as memory, but as living truth.
