Continuing the Cubist exploration of form & fragmentation, this painting reflects on the journey from tradition to modernity in the lives of Indian women. Inspired by the Cubist legacy of Pablo R. Picasso & the visual logic of Q-puzzles, the composition is constructed entirely through cubes & intersecting planes, deliberately avoiding circular forms. Through this structured geometry, the figures gradually emerge.
Two women appear through layered perspectives, shaped by personal stories, everyday observations & shared experiences. Their forms suggest growth, change, and quiet strength, echoing the journeys of women who redefine themselves over time. The composition draws inspiration from real lives, including my own & those around me, capturing moments of transition, reflection & self-belief.
Everyday accessories & vibrant color fields ground the abstraction in lived reality. The painting celebrates modern womanhood as an evolving presence, shaped by experience & expression
