This artwork captures the quiet beauty of the underwater world, blending the natural elegance of stone with the fluid movement of water. Formed from a coral-like rock found at a sand-washing site, the structure carries organic curves and intricate tunnels shaped by time and erosion. Epoxy resin flows through these cavities like refracted light, creating translucent turquoise passages that evoke the sensation of descending into the sea.
Inspired by my passion for snorkeling and the serene coastal landscapes of the UAE, the piece reflects on nature’s hidden architecture and the shifting colours of water in motion. “A Dive Into the Depths” invites viewers to explore the small worlds within the stone—spaces where stillness, depth and fluidity meet.
