Inspired by the natural architecture of geodes and mineral formations, this artwork explores layered depth through multiple resin pours and crystallised textures. The monochrome palette amplifies the contrast between light and shadow, while embedded crushed glass and reflective particles create a shimmering geological surface.
Flowing lines and organic rings reveal resin’s boundary-free nature, allowing light to travel across the surface and shift the sense of depth as the viewer moves. “Black Geode Formation” captures a moment of geological creation frozen in time—where pressure, motion and luminosity meet. The piece merges the raw language of stone with contemporary abstraction, offering a tactile, immersive interpretation of mineral landscapes.
