This painting is a study of the lush, heavy abundance of Tulips and Daffodils, focusing on their deep colors and rounded forms. By moving away from delicate lines and focusing on bold, thick brushwork, I aimed to capture the physical weight of a spring bloom.
The composition is dense and tightly packed, filling the entire frame to create a sense of overflowing life. I used a palette of royal purples and warm oranges to contrast with the bright yellow of the daffodils, all set against a dark, moody background that allows the vibrant petals to "pop". This work is an invitation to experience the texture and richness of a garden at its most vibrant and full moment.
